Gourmet chocolate heaven, the cafe is reasonably small and intimate. A long, thin kind of place, dark and strangely quiet when we visited. Except for counter where visitors come to buy takeway chocolates for their indulgent Daylesford weekend. Cliffys - Howe Street - Daylesford Coffee with attitude! Yes, these guys are pretty good, they look the part and have the 'look' instore, home made jams, bustling with iconic Australianisms. Very cosy inside on a cold winters day, lovely outside on a warm summers morning. Anywhere in between, will leave it to you. Again, the coffee is generally great, and they are just a short stroll from the Howe Street Sunday market, but the smiles can be a little harder to come by.... Enlarge |
