Spa Country Railway.

The DSCR is a railway museum specalising in railmotors and trolleys of the Victorian Railways. Fully restored diesel railmotors are operated over a scenic 9 kilometre section of the former Carlsruhe to Daylesford branch line in Victoria, Australia. The DSCR is operated and maintained by The Central Highlands Tourist Railway. Heritage railmotor services run from Daylesford station to Bullarto every Sunday of the year and "The Silver Streak" champagne train runs on the first Saturday each month

and for those interested in trains, Warburton (on the other side of melbourne in the Yarra Valley) has some great train murals going up. Telling the story of trains in the Warburton Valley, there are about 15 murals depicting old locomotives and the end of trains in Warburton. These murals are being painted on the actual site of the Warburton station - situated directly behind the Warburton Water Wheel Visitors Information Centre. The Spa Country Railway in Daylesford celebrates the Spa Country but just for people - our four legged friends are better to seek out mobile dog grooming to come and deliver an 'in home' spa insteasd of travelling to Daylesford for this type of grooming.
